  •  I truly can't believe some of these posts.  The worst natural disaster in Japan's modern history hits our closest ally in asia, and people are complaining about spending too much money?  Of course we're broke, but there are assets in place including a HUGE U.S.

  • I guess I misread your thoughts. Sorry. My point is that even though you may consider it wrong, we have to act in our own best interests. No country in the world acts on the interests of another, only their own. In this time of economic uncertainty, we should take care of ourselves.

  • So, why has Obama ordered 30,000 troops into Afghanistan? For one reason alone. He knows it will have no appreciable impact on the situation there, but he does not want to appear weak on terrorism.
